About the Role
The Senior Manager BP&A must have an interest in innovating to solve business problems creatively, a willingness to hit the ground running. He/she will build up a dedicated team to support the growth of CastleGate Europe with the right business processes and analytical tool sets. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in pursuing a General Management career track at Wayfair.
The successful candidate is:
·         Someone with a strong senior presence, able to speak to executives, both internally and externally
·         Able to work with and lead cross-functional teams
·         Self-motivated and goal-oriented
·         Able to take ownership and drive results, has a strong desire to win
·         Motivated to develop into managing a team of energetic and driven account managers
·         Comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to change quickly
·         Successful in negotiation and project management
·         Able to quickly understand and accurately evaluate supplier’s supply chain, able to assume the perspective of executive or business owner on supplier side
·         Able to balance analytical thinking with effective, persuasive communication
·         Solution-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and finds creative and effective solutions
·         Own the strategic forecasting process for the European CastleGate program
·         Provide operational forecasts on a weekly basis as input for the warehouse Labor management system
·         Further develop and implement business reporting tools (e.g. sales performance, account profitability)
·         Monitor overall CastleGate performance, identify improvement levers and implement them in cross-functional project teams
·         Own and further develop CastleGate’s standard cost model and pricing tool
·         Work collaboratively with internal teams across many business functions to build new and improve existing processes; proactively identify and troubleshoot issues
·         MBA or similar qualification from top tier school, significant years of experience in one of the following fields: consulting, analytics or fulfillment
·         Successful entrepreneur who has built similar or related product/service offerings, especially in the logistics space
·         Innovative leader who is looking for an opportunity to lead product category verticals strategy and execution
·         Strong analytical experience and ability to operate with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways
·         Detail-oriented and strong client or customer management experience, comfortable in front of C-level executives
